Polylines for roads, rail, and paths, with connectivity and attribute labels.

03

Land Cover and Land Use

Segmentation of vegetation, water, crops, bare soil, and built-up areas.

04

Change Detection

Before-and-after labeling to track construction, damage, and environmental change.

05

Object Detection

Vehicles, ships, aircraft, solar panels, and other assets in overhead imagery.

06

Infrastructure Inspection

Power lines, pipelines, and towers from drone and aerial surveys.

How We Deliver GIS Annotation

From your first sample to production volume, every project follows the same six-step path, with no commitment until the pilot proves the quality.

  1. Step 01

    NDA and Discovery

We sign an NDA first, then clarify your goals, taxonomy, edge cases, and target accuracy for the geospatial imagery.

  2. Step 02

    Free Pilot

We annotate a sample of your geospatial imagery at no cost, so you can judge quality, speed, and edge-case handling first-hand.

  3. Step 03

    Proposal and Agreement

Based on your pilot feedback, we finalize scope, timeline, pricing, and the Service Level Agreement.

  4. Step 04

    Team Setup and Training

We assemble a dedicated team, train it on your guidelines, and agree on communication channels and progress tracking.

  5. Step 05

    Production Labeling

Our team runs GIS annotation to the agreed plan, with throughput and accuracy KPIs tracked for every annotator.

  6. Step 06

    QA and Delivery

Your georeferenced labels pass multi-stage quality review before delivery. Your feedback feeds straight back into the guidelines.

GIS Annotation for Your Industry

We deliver georeferenced labels that drop straight into your GIS stack and your ML pipeline.

01

Urban Planning

Building, road, and land-use inventories at city scale.

02

Agriculture

Field boundaries, crop types, and crop health from multispectral imagery.

03

Energy and Utilities

Asset mapping and vegetation management along networks.

04

Insurance and Risk

Property attributes and post-disaster damage assessment.

05

Environmental Monitoring

Deforestation, water bodies, and coastline change.

    GIS Annotation FAQs

What GIS annotation accuracy can you guarantee?

Accuracy targets, such as positional tolerance and class precision, are agreed per project during the pilot. Multi-stage review and spot-checks keep every production batch at or above that threshold, and each delivery includes a QA report.

How do you handle edge cases and ambiguous features?

Shadows, occlusions, partial structures, and unclear land-cover boundaries are logged, escalated to the project lead, and turned into written guideline updates, so every annotator applies the same rule from then on.

Can you work with our existing GIS layers?

Yes. We can validate and correct existing vector layers, OpenStreetMap extracts, or model predictions, which is often faster and cheaper than digitizing from scratch. Coordinate systems are preserved throughout.

How quickly can a GIS annotation project start?

Most pilots start within a few days of receiving sample tiles. Production teams are typically ready shortly after guidelines and class definitions are approved.
